Honoring the Brave Souls Who Guided Our Military Heroes
MONUMENTS IN ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY dedicated to preserving the profound spiritual legacy of military chaplains.
Honoring Sacrifice.
Preserving Sacred Memory.
At the heart of Arlington National Cemetery stands Chaplains Hill, a sacred place honoring the military chaplains who served America’s armed forces in times of war and peace. These men and women from many religious backgrounds carried faith into the most difficult moments of military life—offering prayer, courage, and hope to service members on battlefields, aboard ships, and in hospitals around the world.
The Chaplains Hill Monuments Update Project will add the names of chaplains who died in service during Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War, and the Global War on Terror. By casting their names in bronze on granite monuments on this hallowed ground, we ensure their sacrifice is forever remembered and that future generations who walk through Arlington will honor the legacy of those who served both God and country.
Preserving the Courageous Legacy of Extraordinary Armed Forces Chaplains
The Chaplain Hill Memorial celebrates the brave men and women who have faithfully served alongside our troops. Whether offering comfort during turbulent times or leading quiet prayers of hope, these heroes demonstrated immense bravery. We humbly invite you to join our ongoing mission of profound remembrance and national pride.
"It is a hardship upon the regiment, I think, to be denied a chaplain."
